A Scary Glass Doll

Something brushed up against my foot and my surprise turned to horror as I looked down and saw a glass doll it was saying I coming after you it repeated it four times. SO I ran I said ( Why are you coming to get me) Then the glass doll said ( because you killed my Mummy  and Daddy that is why I am going to kill you ) It laughed Mu hahaha.

Then I got home and locked myself in the bedroom. After my parents got home I ran to them and said ( Guess what  mum and dad there was a glass doll chasing me ) They said ( No you are imagining it ) Mum,mum I am not imagining it. But after saying mum I am not imagine it they said ( Go to your room now).

Then I heard it dad,dad you gotta believe me  can’t you hear it Dad said ( Sorry I can’t hear anything. Is it just me that can hear it I bet it is just me. Then they said sorry ;( now we can hear ). Then they went and locked them self in the basement then I said ( Mum Dad that is where the glass doll is ) Then we went and locked as all in my bedroom. Sorry we didn’t know until now we are very very sorry :(  .

Ryan & Shirquera's Birthday

On the 5th of July we went to my aunt's house. When we got there they had made two cakes for me and my cousin Ryan.They got me this book , pencil case ,three funky pens , Hair ties and  the warmest beny ever. If you want to get on you should ?

On the 6th of July  my Mum said ( guess what  Kuera) what I said ( we are going to  skate land with  my aunty Sunita and Ryan & Josh. When my uncle said last night how is going to skate  then my stepdad said ( I am going to skate ) and then my uncle freaked out OMG he said.

After we got in we went to the counter and told them that it is me and my cousins birthday he said ( what is your names and how old are both of you) then I said my name is Shirquera.W  and Ryan.S then we both said we are 11 years old. Then when we got in the ring to skate the said a big shout out to Shirquera.W and Ryan.S .

Trip to Kelly T

On Monday the first of July we went to Kelly Tarltons to find out more about Antarctica and yes we did find out more. First we looked at the Penguins there were two shots of Penguins an Gentoo Penguin and a King Penguin when we entered we saw the Gentoo Penguin first and it was amazing we saw them swimming they swim like the wind. Then as we got more closer to the glass of the rest of the Penguins we saw the King Penguin and they are the 2ed biggest out of all the other's.

Then it was time for us to see the sharks, last Year when my family and my Best friend Keis went to Kelly  Tarltons we got to swim with them. As we were scared we went closer to the rock’s then we saw something move and it was a shark and then we heard a sound it was freaky.  It was really cool not go swimming with sharks this time round .

As we got near the end we were looking at crayfish they were bigger then two heads together (WOW that is amazing)  I said to my friend’s around me.Have you ever tasted one if you haven’t go to a seafood  place  and buy one . It tasted a bit like fish but it has more flavor Mmmm. Yammy crayfish.

After seeing all that we went to akho bay park and eat morning tea .I had a white chocolate muffin mmm I love my muffin mmm.

My Birthday The 3rd of July

Yah! On July the 3ed it is going to be my birthday I can’t wait.On my birthday we are celebrating   me and my 2 two cousins birthdays we are yes,yes,yes. We are going to have our birthdays at my cousin ryan’s house.

When I was talking to my aunty she said (that the birthday cake was going to be a surprise) and I said (Thanks aunty for making it a surprise I hope It makes me burst ) I replied thank in a happy face.

WHen we get there I am going to get in my togs and go jump in the pool or the spa.If it is cold I am going to get in the spa but iF it is hot and a nice day I’m going to go in the pool where it is cold.But I think I can take the cold and jump in the freezing pool. After I get in I will get out and then BOOM it and make it HUGE .

After we finished swimming we are going to rip the presents a part and see what we got.I hope that I get a new phone and some new clothes and shoes.

Now there is only 9 more days till  my birthday and only 10 more days till my cousins ryan’s and riven’s  and 11 more day till I go to my aunt's house.I will be turning 11 years old OMG.

Detective Chris caught a plane to the jungle with a parachute...When he got there he was looking around the jungle to find new things there. When he was looking around he found a dead monkey the monkey’s name was warren then he changed it to little Chris.

When the Detective changed the monkeys named he picked it up the monkey and put it in the bag. Then he realized that it wasn't died so he took it out and gave it a banana Yeahhh ,,,After all he thought that it won't be a problem to have a Monkey as a pet.   

Then the plane came and he jumped in and went home. When he got home he said (oh my family oh my family) He said OMG It’s good to be home he replied calmly.

Keis

When I was Nine years old I meet a girl could Keis this was in 2011.That is when we started to play together. Just as we got out of the classroom door we got stuck. I said (that she could go first) but she said (that I could go first ) then we both went and got stuck in the door then our teacher Mrs Barks taped us so that  we weren’t stuck anymore.

Then we were playing on the playground just then another friend came out the back of me and scared me and I fall.Then I was crying we went to the office and they called the rescue people and they came.Then they came and they said (that I had a broken arm and legs) so they took me to the hospital.

Then the next day I came back to Pt England school with me broken leg and arm and my friend Keis  was waiting. She  chocolate flowers then we made up a hand shake and then thats how we became best friends for ever.Then till now we have been BFFs for 2/1 years and we will be friend till we are dead :) .

Fiafia Shirquera

What is Fiafia? I didn't know till I came to Pt England it means to  "celebration," "Get-together," or "happy".I like fiafia because we dance,sing and perform. I feel that people will like to perform and more so they will came.

This is our 60th anniversary at Pt England school,I am very excited because we get to show people what we were learning when we practices. My teachers for Barkerville are Mr S and Mr Barks our item is a surpris. You'er going to love it come along and see the wonderful students on april the 18th. My favourite bite about Fiafia is doing it on the night.

2. What were the painted fish stencils meant to do?Stop people from putting waste down the stormwater drains.

3. Where were they painted?By the drains and in front of their school and by the petrol station

4. Explain where the stormwater was going.To the sea and the hordour

5. What is stormwater.When it rains the water goes into the drains and into the sea and people put waste in there

6. Why is it bad to let waste go down the stormwater drain?Because it kills fish and living crates

7. Which drains did the kids paint the stencils around? Shops,outside their school and the petrol station

8. Where does sewage water go to? (see the diagram)The creeks near them and the Hadour

9. How does this article relate to Omaru Creek?That people are tipping waste into our creek and make it like it is there rubbish bin

11. If we had the chance to put painted signs around our local storm water drains, what would they need to warn people about?There is living creatures in this creek do not put waste in there don’t kill

Testing Omaru Creek for -Water Smell

I am going to find out.What is the smell of the water.                                                                                                                                           .

I am going to test this by:Smelling the culvert water.

Resources and equipment:Buckets, Jars  and a string.

I predict that:The culvert smells like eggs and water plants.

I think this because:Because we smelled it

Results of my tests

My conclusion (what I found out):I found out that the culvert water isn't green but it was see through and no floating bits in it

Mangere Pools

We couldn't have had a better ending to our year 5-6 camp than going to Mangere swimming pools. I said to myself OMG I have never been here before, this looks cool. We were very excited because I could hear the kids screaming in the bus.

Miss Va’afusuaga brought along us rolls and chocolate cake for lunch. Did you think that she had all that money to buy those kinds of food for the year five and six. I think that might fill up my tummy for lunch and the whole day. UMM....That chocolate cake melted in my mouth.

My favourite part of the day was going on the slide. As we were waiting our turn for the long slide looked scary. Then when it was my turn

Testing Omaru Creek for -Turbidity

I am going to find out:Turbidity how cloudy is the water

I am going to test this by:Checking by looking at words on the other side.

Resources and equipment:Buckets,Jars and string and a piece of paper with words

I predict that:That the environment should clean it and kill catfish and the bridge water you can not see the words and the culvert water you can see big and medium,tap water you can see all of them then the sea water you can see all of them.

I think this because:I think that to of the waters are going to be cloudy and the other two

My conclusion (what I found out):That there are catfish in the water at the creek and that is what is clogging the fish,eels and more living things at omaru creek.

Why I think this is:Because people are be mean to omaru creek and like it is there rubbish bin but it’s not.
