Merry Christmas

In two weeks it is going to be christmas we are going to invite our whole family. WOW! I can not wait for it to be Christmas and when my family comes over I am going to jump high.

Then when they come inside the house my mum is going to make a roast chicken and pavlova. After we have roast chicken we are going to open the presents when my mum says merry christmas we say merry christmas back to her.


In the evening Enyahlee and I went to my dad’s house my dad is going to buy Swag pants and a Swag top for me. When it is Christmas we are going to town and going to his job at Smith and Cowie and we are going to get free lunch and a free photo i can not wait.

Hi Everyone how is look at this is my family my step dad and my mum and my sister. They all love me I love them.

Netbook reflection 2013

I like my netbook because it’s faster then a book and a pencil.  I like my netbook because paper gets messy and I like my netbook because if I get words wrong I can change things. Sometimes I can lose my books and pencils.

It frustrates me when things do not work. On my netbook if it just shut down. It frustrates me when tuxpaint doesn't work.

When I did not have a netbook I got words wrong and my book got messy and now that I have my netbook it’s easier to write on.

Swimming

Last Tuesday the year 5’s went to room 16 and we went swimming. When we got our togs  Mr Somerville said “go and get changed you have 3 minutes and if you are not ready before 3

minutes you are not swimming”.  When all of the girls and boys were ready Mr Somerville said “lets go”.

As we were getting into the pool it was getting wavy because people were diving into the pool. When we got into the pool Mr Somerville  said “be quiet” and then we played games.

Then after Mr Somerville said we are going to play games Mr Somerville chucked the tennis ball into the pool and anyone could get the ball and the first one to bring it to me get’s a score for their team. If you got  15 scores your team wins.

I wish that we could go again because it is fun and we play games and it is just fun.Thank you to hope and Keis for editing my writing.

Jumping on the tramp

Once upon a time there was a boy named Nic he went to his back yard to play on the tramp. When he got on the trampoline he was jumping very high.


When he was jumping he full of the tramp and fall on his head. After he fell on his head he was bleeding so hard. Then after he was bleeding he started to cry no my head he cried.


When the mum come outside she said “no my son oh no”. Then mum rang the 111 and said “my son has cracked his head upon ples help ples ples she cried. Then they drove him to the hospital and they stitched his head back together.

When he got home his was home and then he was better a fey days latter.

My Family

Yesterday my family came over to our house to talk to my mum. When my Aunt got inside my Aunt sat on the couch when my mum come over to my Aunt they talked. My sister and cousins all said “We are hungry .”

My aunt said “Here you go go get some food for all of us go get takeaways”. Me, Jazz, Tere and Enya went to G.I to get some takeaways and two drinks one lime and one raspberry. After a while the takeaways were ready I went to get it the owner said “are you alright? Thats heavy” I replied and said “No I am not. But my cousin will take it.”


Then we went to pt england shops to get fish and chips we had three dollars of  chips and five fish too. Next we got back in the van and waited for nine minutes and then it was ready.  In a flash my cousins said “get in the van and we went home and eat then they went home now it is bedtime said “mum”.

Intro.
Once upon too kids called Josh and Nick and the teacher miss Alan went up the manetin on a trip .They were going for a pink neck and for a walk up in the bush.Then they kept on walking.


Problem.
After they got up the manetin Nicki  had cut her leg. Josh went to get the teacher when Josh got miss Alan miss alan went to get a plaster. When miss Alan got there was no more plasters left. Miss Alan was looking for something to rap it up with.

Action.
When the bus arrived at the manetin miss Alan ran and said “do you have any plasters” and the bus driver  said “yes I have two more left”. When the bus driver gave the plaster to miss Alan miss gave the plaster to Josh.

How it is solved.
Josh went to go to Nicki when Josh gave the plaster to Nicki put on her leg.When Josh gave the plaster to Nicki was feeling happy when Josh gave the plaster. After Nicki said “that she felt happy”.   

Point England school

After school Broneq and Keis went to the Pt England Shops and they both had 10 dollars and they went to get some food for them. When they got to the shops they had got two lollies when they got the lollies they both had nine dollars left.

When they got outside the shop got redded the man how redded the shop he had a gun the gun had pink love hearts on it. When he got inside he said put your hand’s up our get out side. When the shop Keeper’s got outside the man put some food into his bag and filled it up to the top.




When the man started to run the owens went to get the police when the police came they were looking for him. He was going to the beach when he got to the beach he opened the beach. After he opened the bag at the beach the police found him and took him to jail.

Yesterday my family watched New Zealand’s got Talent.Jgeeks were amazing they did the dagay and the hoochy mamaer. At the beginning there was a man that had a drum. He was 59 years old. It hit him on the head and everyone was laughing.I loved it when it finished we had to go to bed and we said good night.

Five a side football

As the race was starting the gun went off their spring blades were very fast. When they were getting around to the other side the crowd went wild shouting GO GO GO. After they got to the end they were like a steam train going super fast down the rails. He was excited, exhausted and extremely proud.

Cross Country Shirquera

Friday at 12:30 Pm our whole entire school had to do Cross Country we had to walk down to pt england reserve and all the nine year olds went first. Then after they went the ten year olds went at the starting I had lost my shoe but I keep on going in one hole shoe and in a sock.

As we were running we got into the track it smelled like I was in a garbage bin I hated it as I keep running and I saw some people slippy  it was so funny. But when I got up to the muddy bit I sipped in the mud.
At the finishing line I had to STOP and I felt exhausted and lazily I fall on the grass. I slipped in the mud and I was very messy and when I got home from school I got ready to get  in the shower and I got clean and then got ready to go out.

Go Martartoa keep on going get to the end I was so so happy I finished it yeah.

At 10:55 Room 15 was getting ready to make sausages sizzles. First we had to peel the onions and some people were crying and we cut them in half into cut rings.

When we were done Mr Marks put the sausages on the grill and it will be cooking we were waiting and the music room and then came back . Mele,Sarah,Meleane and Aldora were getting ready to pute and the bread on and the tomato sauce and the BBQ sauce.

As we were waiting we got a bread and a sausage and with onions with tomato sauce and BBQ sauce. It smelled like I was in heaven I love it because it tasted nice. Yum that was very very very nice yummy.

Once upon a time I was walking past the park and I found a monster called haem  and I took him home he was as kid I love her.

Before we went to do cross country training we packed up the class and when we were done Mr Marks said “can the year five girls came and line up”.Then he said ready set go and we started to  go and when I got up to Mr Somerville and I could not run any more and then I started to jog. But when I got back to Miss ouana I STOPPED.

Then I went back to school and then we did scratches but then I got tired and went home.

Kelly toluenes

Me and Keis, Enyahlee, Mum and my step dad went to Kelly Tarlton’s on my birthday. Before we got into kelly toluenes there was a buzz of excitement in the air. As we entered we saw the sharks and fish,stingrays and also penguins. There were lots of humongous fish. There was a conveyor belt when we entered the sharks tank there was a camouflaged shark that blended in with the rocks. After the sharks we went upstairs and there were landers and else and seahorses and a little shop  you could buy something.


After we were done there I bort me a photo pack of the photos we took. Then when we were done we went to have burger king for lunch I loved going out somewhere with my family and friends.

Then after that we went to keauhou bay and played. I loved playing on the flying fox and on the swings and then we went home that was FUN!!!

Today room fifteen went into the hall and we did a worm up and we run around we learnt a dance. It was hard because we had to learn a dance with a group. There were 6 movements and we proceeded and proceeded again.

Ancient Olympics

The ancient olympics began in greece two thousands and a half years ago. They had to complete the olympics by doing Athens,sparta,corinth. Boxing,discuss,wrestling and gavilan.After the olympics game stopped they would often fight and they would chop their enemies heads off.Then there would be a man coming to wave a white flag.That means they would stop fighting each other and they would have to go back to the olympics to complete the games.

1.every monday morning miss muliaumasealii comes into room 15 and takes as to the hall and we have to take our own olympic movie. But we have to go in a group of five people and then we have to make up a dance up with a group with people.

The Olympic symboles

This term our inquiry topic is the Olympic Games. We will be taking a close look at the London games and also uncovering some of the amazing stories of the Olympics, both past and present.

The Olympic Symbol of five rings represents the 5 inhabited continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, America and Australasia) that compete in the Olympics. The colours blue, yellow, black, green and red are on the flag. It has been hoisted in London England for the games.

who is my sister.  I like how she added two faces together and it looked awesome. I really loved it so much.

Alien pet shop

Once upon a time I got abducted by aliens that was over night. While I was there with the alien's they took me
to the pet shop and one day a alien family. After I was there for a month my family came and then wrecked meeeeeeeee.. and now i am happy hurray.

Before my family came to get me from the pet shop the aliens were squishing me together.

clay workshop

At Youthtown on friday we went into the clay workshop and then we got some clay and then we had to chop off the sides. After that we had to make a pattern for our clay and we had to roll some clay and then we put it on the clay. When we were done we went and decorated our clay and when we were done we gave it to Georgia and Sue.

While the clay it cooking in the kiln it will be over a month until you will get it back so the clay can get hard.

Claude Monet was a french artist who liked to do art and copy it like the landscape and he enjoyed it he was an impressionist captured the moment in time...

Claude Monet this beautiful garden he changed the garden in the seasons in giverny he liked to repeat it and constantly use it in his subject and he does it around the world.

The famous japanese garden there is a bridge that is crossing the pond and the leaves change with colors.

Robert Delaunay

Robert Delaunay and his wife Sonia they had did vibrant art and he was a painter and also he was a writer and a poet.

He liked to use vibrant colors and geometric shapes and contrasting colors.

He painted a portuguese woman. There is a leaf on the left and a kitchen and a lady in the kitchen. This is my first attempt at creating a piece of art in the style of Robert Delaunay.

Jackson Pollock is a America artist but he lived in America and we think he is from New York. He smoked, he did drank and he was a  single man and he was young when he died.

He was a artist that dribbled and splattered paint on his art his art is awesome. Will people they liked to by his art this art is powerful and wonderful and this art was the best.


Will we just got to do it just like the artiest Jackson Pollock as soon as I smarted to paint I sparred paint on my peas of pepper. When everybody had finish there art we let it dry.   

Swimming lessons

This week Room 15 has been going swimming at the ymca  pool. While we were there  we got put into groups there  were three instructors. Also we had a partner we had to do arm circles and back stocks . I was kicking slowly and my partner was catching up she was at the back of me. During the lesson we were do arm circles to the Island. When I got to the island I swim back to the end.I wish that I could go swimming this week but I can’t go.

Easter show

On the 2nd day of the easter show the first ride I went on was the bumper cars with my sister. I was the best at driving but my sister kept on going faster than me. When the ride was over my dad and my sister were going to a ride. They went on a ride that went forwards for a bit and then it went back and my sister cried. When we were there, my nana and aunt and cousins were playing the games  and on the other rides.  

In the holiday I am going to the Easter show with my family. I am going to eat easter eggs and listen to music. There is a lot of castles at the Easter show.

Camp

Camp at kayaking



At camp we went kayaking at pt England Beach I went with a partner my partner was one of the people in my team and me and my partner fall out of the people slipped,fall. After I went on a kayak be myself and when I got in and started to paddle I felt like I was going to fall out.

I am looking forward to going to the pools because I like swimming. Maybe it will be sunny and hot. People will love going to the pools because it will probably be hot.

I am so nervous about going kayaking because I might fall out and I might get glass in my foot. We are going kayaking at Pt England Reserve and it is awesome. Maybe more people will fall out with me.

In the morning room fifteen went to the hall and did a apostolic Coors and we had to do it blind folded. We had to find a person to help and my person was grace and she went first. We had to go through some ropes and grace said to some people to slip and some people didn't slip. When people jumped off the stage some people fall down on the ground I did like some people.
